Upcoming Meetings

NEXT MEETING:  Spring 2025,

                            Location TBD

Use the Contact form to let us know if you have questions or any items you would like to add to the agenda. Masks will NOT be required.

If you wish to have someone vote in your place you must get us a letter of proxy. Below is a sample.

Reminder:  You must be a member in good standing to have voting rights at meetings.  If you have not paid your annual or special assessments you will NOT be able to vote on matters at the meeting per the FOKA Bylaws.

What if I cannot attend a meeting? Can I still vote?

If you cannot attend the meeting, you can designate someone else to vote on your behalf by submitting, in writing, your wish for them to be your proxy.  All proxies must be in writing and be filed with the Secretary. No proxy shall extend beyond a period of eleven (11) months, and every proxy shall automatically cease upon sale by the member of his property. If you wish the person acting as your voting proxy to only vote for you at a particular meeting, please note this in your written proxy request. Signing over proxy voting authority to someone lets that person cast votes for you on any voting matters presented at the meeting.  The proxy letter can be simply worded such as the sample shown below where a lot owner assigns a proxy for a particular meeting they cannot attend. Make sure to include your full address and lot number if known. If you have questions on this matter, please feel free to contact us using the contact widget on the right of this page.
