Friends of Kentucky Acres (FOKA) subdivision is a community that is unified, where all sections work together to meet common goals, share responsibilities, and have a greater ability to improve neighborhood common areas, property values, security, and communication.
FOKA seeks to evenly distribute the burden of maintenance costs of the front entrance and common areas for the benefit of all. Kentucky Acres residents speak with one voice and, thereby have greater influence with county officials on community issues.

1. If I cannot attend the meeting, can I still vote?
Yes. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can vote by proxy. Please see the Meetings Page
for instructions and a sample of a proxy letter.
2. I have an issue with...? How do I file a complaint?
We are often asked about code enforcement issues and making formal complaints. The HOA does not handle these complaints. The primary way to accomplish this is to file a Nuisance Complaint with the Oldham County Fiscal Court. The official form for filing a complaint can be found the following link:
Oldham County Petition for Nuisance
3. Do we need to submit construction plans to the HOA for new construction or additions?
No. We are not an enforcement HOA and we do not handle approving construction plans. Oldham County Planning and Zoning handles this.
4. Can we pay our dues online or electronically?
Members can use their own online checking account bill pay function to pay dues electronically. You can create a payee with the following information:
Friends of Kentucky Acres HOA
PO Box 673
Crestwood KY 40014
If your bank requires an account number suggest you use your name. If your bank requires a phone number suggest you just provide your own.
We investigated the possibility of other online payment processes but each incur a transaction fee the HOA would have to bear. This was brought forward for a vote at the November 2021 membership meeting. Per unanimous vote we will NOT provide direct electronic payment options at this time.
